Here you will find information on the easiest way to book accommodation, as well as information on what applies to the cancellation of your accommodation.

Online booking

When booking online, payment is made directly, which facilitates and minimizes queues on arrival. If you prefer to book by phone, you can reach us on weekdays between 08-18, phone 0346-375 00.

To make a reservation

If you book accommodation with us, you must be over 18 years old or accompanied by a parent or guardian. You must be able to provide your correct identity and residential address, which may need to be proved with an ID document. Remember to read the booking confirmation and information carefully to avoid misunderstandings. You are obliged to comply with our rules, instructions and regulations for the accommodation you have rented. Pets may be brought to accommodation where pets are allowed.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before arrival, no fee will be charged. In the event of cancellation later than 14 days before arrival, the customer shall reimburse the supplier a certain percentage of the value of the order. In the event of cancellation of part of the order, the compensation shall relate to the canceled part.

Cancellation for private individuals
Less than 14 days before arrival = 50% refund
Less than 18:00 on the day before arrival or on the day of arrival = 100% refund

If you have booked a package that includes entrance tickets to a concert, show or other performance, these entrance tickets are binding from the time of booking and cannot be canceled. Refunds will only be made for the amount corresponding to accommodation and other optional extras in the booking.

Cancellation insurance

Add a cancellation protection to your booking. The cover costs SEK 99 and gives you as a guest the opportunity to cancel your accommodation with a full refund* until 6 pm the day before arrival.
A cancellation cover covers a booking up to 4 rooms or campsites. One Cancellation Cover per room/campsite is needed when booking 5 or more properties.
Cancellation Cover does not cover entrance tickets to concerts, shows or other performances.
*Cancellation insurance fee is non-refundable.

If you have not added cancellation insurance to the booking and there are legitimate reasons for the cancellation, e.g. in the event of serious illness, and this can be supported by a certificate from, for example, a doctor, authority or insurance company, no fee will be charged (does not apply to tickets booked for events). The fee for cancellation cover is not refundable even if the cancellation can be supported by a certificate.

Complaint procedure for accommodation booking

Before your stay
You as a guest are obliged to check the booking confirmation yourself to ensure that all information is correct. Any inaccuracies must be reported immediately and you can reach us by phone 0346-375 00 or gekasbyn@gekas.se. Please have your reservation number ready.

During your stay
If you as a guest discover something during your stay that does not meet your expectations, it is important that you bring it to our attention right away so that we have the opportunity to fix it while you are still on site. The best thing to do is to call one of our receptions directly and clearly explain what is not as expected. Please have your reservation number and hotel room/cottage number handy.

After the stay
You as a guest also have the opportunity to leave comments via a questionnaire that is sent out after your stay. We are grateful for all comments – they make us better!

All complaints are documented in our booking system or in an external document. Any compensation is made directly via the receptions or via the finance department.
