Company structure

Gekås Ullared AB consists of several business areas: the well-known department store, which accounts for most of the turnover, as well as Gekåsbyn, which includes camping and accommodation activities, and Gekås Restaurangen.

The company’s CEO is Patrik Levin, who is responsible for the entire group and its operations. Patric Jernberg is the business area manager for Gekås Restaurangen, while Sara Ståhle is responsible for Gekåsbyn and the hotel, which includes all accommodation units – including camping, motels and hotels. The parent company Gekås AB houses the main board and is also a shareholder in a wind power company and Falkenbergs Biogas (15%). The company also has a 10% stake in Heads, which supplies its IT business systems.

Board of Directors

Ulf Öjerklint, Chairman of the Board. Ulf has a long experience of Gekås history. He was involved in finalizing the deal on behalf of the current owners in 1991. Ulf has then been chairman of the company’s board from 1991 until today, with breaks in 2007 – 2009 and 2021 – 2023. He is basically a lawyer and has a special competence in board work, contracts and legal issues.

Catrin Wirfalk, board member, runs the consulting company Joy and Inspiration and has experience from business, leadership and organizational development as well as recruitment and staffing.

Christina Ivarsson, employee representative. Christina is a buyer and has worked at Gekås since 2004. She has been a member of the board since Gekås union Unionen started in 2019.
